On December 10, 2021, during its official launch dinner, the Peterson Literary Fund at BCU Foundation announced the five winners of the 2021 Peterson Literary Fund Translated Book Awards. Congratulations to our eminent authors and talented translators, as well as the publishers who supported these important works.

The 2021 Grand Prix of Excellence in Translation award was presented to History of Ukraine-Rus’ Volume 2 – Mykhailo Hrushevsky, Ian Press & Tania Plawuszczak-Stech.
The Peterson Literary Fund is a unique, international awards and grants fund established by Canadian philanthropist Stanley Peterson. The Fund was created to recognize books deemed important to the global Ukrainian community. The Fund’s prizes, awards, and grants focus on distinguished written works that are judged to be readable and of interest to a broad audience. The Peterson Literary Fund is comprised of several programs, including its cornerstone literary prize, as well as translated book award, and several targeted grants for writers and translators.
